Quick Update

So... here's a quick udpate on how im doing.
Took measurements today, gaining muscle in calves thighs and upper waist area. Inches have gone up in all areas about .5-.75 inches, but clothes are fitting better so I know it's not FAT!
Losing in the waist, pooch hips and bum, AWESOMENESS!!! Arms have stayed about the same, I see the are gaining muscle but losing fat at about the same rate!

So in 2 months I have lost 8 inches in my problem spots, :D


Mini goal for end of august is to be in size 10's, comfortably, not sucking it in :)

Jeans...

Here are 2 pics, both taken recently(didnt take a jeans pic at the beginning) Size 17 and Size 11

Postponing....

I decided to postpone my result showing until the end of august.... I have done alot in a year... not quite at my goal however though... and I would rather show the beginning to the end(slash another beginning ;) all at once.

A quick update on my progress:
Since last July I have lost over 30 inches and 30 pounds!
I have went from a size 16/17 to a size 11/12 (weird difference in juniors 17-11 and ladies 16-12, sigh lol)

I still have work to do, but I am proud of what I have accomplished so far and look forward to the last leg of my "getting there" journey... then it will be the maintaining journey :)

Not too awful, its gotten pretty loose(the shirt), when I first started working out I was stretching it out to fit into it lol.

Caving In.... O_O

I finally caved to P90X..... finally decided to start a p90x/turbo fire hybrid, mostly just subbing in fire workouts for p90x cardio, and throwing in some hiits..... IM SO FREAKED!!!!  :/ P90X is very intimidating but I know I can do it. I have been working up to be able to do this, and now, RIGHT NOW, is the time. I started on Monday May 16th. EVERYTHING BURNS!!!!.

So as always I have to put down goals :)
For now I have only this one. That I will make it past the first 30 days, the point that most women who start p90x do not pass.

Is it gonna be hard? Uh yeah!
Is it gonna kick my ass? UH YEAH & I I LOVE IT!!!!!

Crazy yes. Lazy no :P

So who's ready to see me BRING IT!?!?!! CUZ I SURE AM!!!

Sighs...

So I totally feel very down at the moment. I am so ticked this weight isn't coming off no matter what kind of workout I do or what I eat. The scale just won't budge. I have upped my workouts and calories accordingly, I am not sure if I am losing inches as I only do that monthly. Hopefully the end of this week, when I measure, will bring happiness. Until then I will continue pushing. For instance today I did zumba for an hour and a half and weight training for a half an hour. So maybe all this hard work will pay off sooner rather than later. Now off to ddo :)

GIDDY :D

Woo hoo!!!!!.
So today was the official halfway point of my prepping for summer workout, and I have been nailing it!!!!
Dedication is key!
So a quick update. Been drinking tons more water. The energy in my workouts lasts till the end and(drumroll please) I have lost 11 pounds in 6 weeks. Not bad I say not bad at all. I havent taken measurements though, I save that for end of phases.

PLUS they donated to American Rivers, a non-profit organization committed to restoring and preserving our country's water sources. How cool is that?!?!

Fire 60= WOW!!!!

Holy wow. Just yeah. Wanna talk about pushing yourself try Fire 60. It has 4 of the fire drills. PLUS some combos that dont feel as repetitive. Talk about being soaked!!!! Fire 55EZ and Fire 60 feel miles apart. Even though they are so close in time you will not believe how much difference there is. TONS more plyometrics, which has become one of my favorite things.
Summer is right around the corner, which tends to push me to do more and more :D
Oh and i definitely went heavy enough yesterday with weights, arms are a burning, in a good way :P

Phase 1 Done!!!! Results and Pics :D

  So I am pretty happy with the results I had. I lost 6.5 pounds and 5.75 inches! Pretty darn good if I say so myself :P I lost 1 inch off my waist, 1.5 inches off my hips, 1.25 inches off the "pooch', .5 off the rear(not great but it does look lifted more for sure), lost .5 from the arms, .5 from the calves and .5 from the thigh, lol one stayed the same :P.
All in all not awful, I can definitely tell.
And then when I looked at what I looked like at the end of last round,whew, major difference.
Now in the pics, you must remember that in between the end of last round and the beginning of the current round I also did 2 months of turbo.

So since it's so close (next Sunday), I figured I should get my next month schedule up. A few changes :)

So pretty much cardio and abs on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday; weight training and high intensity interval training on Monday Wednesday and Friday. Saturday didn't fit on here right but it's the same every week, Stretch 40 and Core 20.
As you can see I started to add in the HIIT 30 towards the end of the month and will be adding it in much more the following month. Also will be getting rid of a fire 45 to make room for the fire 60 as well :D

Excitement builds....

Next Saturday!!! Is when I will measure myself, kinda pumped to see how these two workouts work hand in hand will do. Also thinking about how I might have to change the schedule, mostly thinking about adding in HIIT on 2 of my strength training days... we shall see though. These few weeks have gone well though, sticking to my diet and using my fitness pal to track calories and such. Hoping for a decent change in weight, cross your fingers :) And of course a decent change in measurements. So lets see.. diet has been on target, so has the exercising(even doing the yoga! ;).. cutting down the turbo fire really makes it all the more fun which equals a lot more pow in it as well :) Fast food has been cut out almost entirely!! Water intake is still getting slacked off on.... but am still working at it :)

My prepping for summer workout schedule: Month 1 :D

I am using TurboFire And Chalean Extreme

Sundays- HIIT, 20-25 ones
Mondays- Burn 1 with Core 20
Tuesdays- Fire 45 or Fire 55EZ
Wednesdays- Burn 2 with Ab Ripper X
Thursday- Fire 30 or 45EZ
Friday- Burn 3 with Core 20
Saturday- Stretch 40

I am on Wednesday of my first week. Updates and measurements/pics will be up April 16th .

WOW, if that line isn't enough to get your bum outta bed in the AM and get that workout done, I have no idea what could!

Are you ready for summer? How about swimsuit season?(I heard that "ohcrap" gasp)

Well if not what the heck are you doing about it?!    Are you just sitting around saying I'll start tomorrow or are you busting out your workout?

GET YOUR BUM OFF THAT FREAKIN SOFA AND MOVE!!!!

These things don't happen over night, but put the time and energy in and you WILL see results!

Week 6 Done :D

Whew, and what a week it was!!!! My kicks have improved by so much. My upper legs and abs are getting tight, not so flabby ya know, and that is awesome. The motivation from Chalene is just INSANE!!! I like this month because of all the long cardio days but I am starting to miss the HIIT's. Luckily they will be back before I know it. I really like how next month is looking. 3 HIIT days with 30 minutes of sculpting on those days, :D :D!!!

I have started using myfitnesspal, and I definitely notice a difference counting calories that way compared to just a notepad. It has more of an actual accountability feeling to me.

Tomorrow is the last technical day of week six with a 20 minute core class and a 40 minute stretch class. One of the first stretch/yoga classes I have actually liked. Ahhh... blissfully relaxing Sunday here I come :)

Random thoughts on my past 7 months of fitness....

   What is it that gets me up and moving? Whether it's bright and early or after a long, tiring, been out in the cold day. Most of the time I would have to say I enjoy working out. Who wouldn't after you see the kind of changes you can make. It was exciting waiting for the 30 day marks, knowing I was changing by the mirror and then being blown away by how much I actually lost.
     Do you want to put your jeans on and see a roll?, whether it's under or falling over the top of your jeans. Because I sure as hell don't . And thanks to these past 7 months mine has gone down dramatically.
   ChaLEAN Extreme was a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!!! I couldn't believe strength training would have ever had such an effect on my body. I can't wait for TurboFire to finish so I can start the Hybrid of the two :) :)
  

  
 

Week 5 Day 2 Fire 30 and Sculpt 30

Fire 30 class goes like this:
4 minute warm up
2 combos, one is 2 minutes the other is 1 minute done on right and left leads. 6 minutes total.
First Fire Drill, the ones included in this happen to be 1:15
Next set of combos again 2 minutes and 1 minute on right and left leads. 6 minutes total.
Second Fire Drill
5 minute finale
4 minute cool down

Sounds easy? HAH! Only if you make it easy ;)

What kind of combos are we talking about?
A lot of jabs, crosses, hooks, uppercuts, some speedbags, 7 steps, fire throws, roundhouses and "push it's".

That in combination with a sculpt class, feel the burn my arms, feel the BURN!!!! :D

WOW. I love this one. It's so crazy! It will make you dig deep if you go intense enough.HAH! Is there such thing as not going all out crazy during a work out? Nope, definitely not :P Sweating your ass off and grinning about it, that's when you know your gonna have a great day :D

Finally almost done with a full straight month of turbo fire.....

So I'm pretty excited. It's been almost a month that I have been doing Turbo Fire without anything else. Wait until you see the cuts my abs have gotten from just 4 weeks of it. I'm pumped already :) Pictures will be up on Saturday with a summary of the inches/ pounds I lost. Watch for me then :)
